Krone has introduced the launch of a new platform semi-trailer, made exclusively to the UK and Ireland. The debut took part at the beginning of in terms of Multimodal Show, known as the largest regional event, dedicated to freight transport and logistics. This year the show has attracted the total of about 9,500 visitors.
The brand’s special sales team, aimed at the UK market, has researched into the local price range and prepared a fairly competitive offering. A set of newly-designed units is going to complement the extensive range of Krone semi-trailers, manufactured for the UK and Ireland. The already existing collection includes Profi Liner Krone curtainsiders, Cool Liner refrigerators, Dry Liner freight trailers, as well as container carriers, each of those presented also at Truck1. The brand’s original spare parts can be ordered either online or from Krone specialised spare parts dealers. As for the service support, it is available via regional Krone service agents or via the brand’s Service Locator with the representatives across Europe.
Besides the commercial trailer division, the Krone Group is also well-known for the brand’s agricultural machinery throughout the UK. The farm-oriented division produces mowers, balers, forage harvesters and other popular agricultural equipment. With regard to farming, Krone is as active as in the segment, directed at commercial vehicles. Thus, Krone’s distributor in the UK, Farmhand, will take an important part in site preparations for the ‘Great Grass Event’, which is scheduled for May 6. Krone mowers and rakes will contribute to making the site ready for a world record attempt. To set the record, 100ac of grass should be picked up in no less than 10 minutes. So, it will be a great opportunity for the manufacturer to show the effectiveness of its latest forage equipment in practice.
